School Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various areas around the school ensuring that all areas are clean, tidy and presentable. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Working Hours are Monday to Friday 2.45- 5.45 at Wybers Wood Academy

An Enhanced DBS certificate is required for this position, which we will help obtain.

Duties

Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with established procedures and standards.
Ensure all areas, including classrooms, staff rooms, offices, restrooms, and communal spaces, are kept clean and well-organised.
Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a positive relationship with clients by providing excellent customer service.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow.
Drive to various locations as required to perform cleaning duties.
Qualifications

Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A valid driving licence is desirable for travel between locations.
