Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and welcoming. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently as this is a lone working and key holder position.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 6 AM-8.30 AM
Rate of pay is £12.21, An Enhanced DBS Certificate is required for this position and needs to be in place before start date.
Responsibilities
Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, Classrooms, entrance and reception area and communal spaces.
Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and sanitised as required.
Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Maintain an organised inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Ordering stores when necessary with Manager
Opening up and turning off alarm system
Qualifications
Previous experience in lone working in a cleaning role is preferred.
Experience in the responsibility of Key holder
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
Ability to drive may be beneficial for the role due to location.
Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and to high standards, using own initiative
Able to communicate with cleaning manager on regular basis
Must have a clean criminal record, as an Enhanced DBS certificate must be applied for, (which we help obtain)… But having one on the update system would be an advantage
