Part-Time School Cleaner

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our team at a school located in the WF7 6DG area.

This is a part-time role suitable for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and can work independently within a school environment.

Location: WF7 6DG
Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:15 – 17:15 (10 hours per week)
Pay: National Minimum Wage
Start Date: Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
Vacuuming carpets and mopping hard floors
Dusting and wiping surfaces, desks and touchpoints
Cleaning toilets, washrooms and replenishing consumables where required
Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
Ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:

Enhanced DBS certificate is essential
DBS registered on the Update Service would be an advantage
Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally within a school or similar environment
Reliable, trustworthy and able to work without supervision
Good timekeeping and attendance record
Ability to follow instructions and maintain high cleaning standards
