We are actively seeking a dedicated and reliable School Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene at our site at Ridgeway Campus, Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys cleaning and has a keen eye for detail.

The successful applicant will work from Monday to Friday between 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, ensuring the premises are spotless, creating a healthy environment for students and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

– Meticulous cleaning of bathroom and toilet facilities, ensuring they are sanitised and stocked with necessary products.

– Wiping down frequently touched areas such as door handles, switches, etc., to minimise germ spread and ensuring a healthy, germ-free environment.

– Vacuuming carpets and rugs in the school building to keep them free of dust and debris.

– Mopping hard surface areas such as tiled or vinyl floors, ensuring they are free from dirt and grime.

– Emptying rubbish bins regularly to maintain cleanliness and orderliness.

– Undertaking a range of additional cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness standards of our institution.

Please note that for this position, a valid Enhanced DBS certificate is necessary. However, if you don’t have it, we can assist you in obtaining the certification.
